Information for tomorrow's meet
June 18th
Greetings Pool Sharks!
Tomorrow we have another AWAY swim meet at Wisconsin Dells! All of our pool addresses and maps are on our website under "Resources", "Pool locations". The address for the Wisconsin Dells pool is
300 La Crosse Street, Wisconsin Dells, WI
If this is your first swim meet, please see the "Swim Meet 101" section under the "Resources" tab on our website, or click the link below to know what to expect and how to prepare for away meets.
- Please arrive between 6:45-7 am. Our warm ups start at 7:30 and we will be splitting the team into 2 smaller groups for 10 minutes each. 13 and up will warm up from 7:30-7:40 and 12 and under will warm up from 7:40-7:50. The meet will start at 8 am.
- If you want to see what your swimmer is swimming in the meet, go to the "Meets and Events" tab on our website and click on the gray meet entry box (that is marked closed). You will be able to see your swimmer(s) and what they are scheduled to swim tomorrow with the event number.
- It is going to be HOT again tomorrow! Please come prepared with lots of water and sunscreen. If you have a pop up or shade tent, we highly recommend bringing it to sit under during the meet to keep yourself and our swimmers out of the sun.
- Tomorrow's theme for the meet is Neon! Come dressed in your favorite Neon clothing to show your team spirit during the meet! (swimsuit underneath of course!)
- The 8 and under free relays will be swam in their normal event order, at the end of the meet.
- Heat sheets will be for sale at the concession stand as well as other concession items. The concession stand is CASH ONLY.
- Spectators will be allowed to sit in the bleacher area, but are NOT allowed on deck. We are asking spectators to spread out and only use the bleachers while their child is swimming, so others can do the same.
- Once your child is done swimming all the events they are signed up for, you may leave. If you are not sure, please ask a coach to be sure they are done swimming before you leave.
- Lastly, the Wisconsin Dells pool is NOT a regulation length pool. It is the shortest pool in our conference and is a few yards shy of 25 yards. Our outdoor pool is a 25 meter pool. So if you are comparing times from the last 2 meets (which were both 25 meter pools), you will see a significant difference, and that is why. The good news is, our kids LOVE swimming in this pool because it's shorter! :)
Please continue to be positive teammates and spectators! Our swimmers are working hard and improving every day! It's so fun to see their progress!
Thanks for your continued support!
See you at the Pool!
