Welcome to Pool Sharks

The Sauk Prairie Pool Shark (SPPS) summer swim team is a not-for-profit recreational, community swim organization. Pool Sharks competes in the Tri-County Conference against Baraboo, Wisconsin Dells, Mount Horeb, Cross Plains, Sun Prairie, Spring Green, and Mazomanie. Approximately 120 swimmers are currently active in Pool Sharks, and the coaching staff as well as our community are always welcoming to newcomers!

The Pool Sharks is a recreational age-group summer swim team for kids. Each Saturday morning during June and July, we have home and away meets with teams in our Tri-County Conference. Swimmers usually compete in 3-4 individual and relay events. Pool Sharks is an activity the whole family can participate in! Kids ages 5 to 18 all swim together at the same meet. Our goal is to have all swimmers support one another and to grow both physically and emotionally over the summer months.

SPPS has been a part of the Sauk Prairie community for over 40 years and is overseen by a parent volunteer board of directors which meets approximately once a month all year round. All involved parents are welcome at meetings and essential to the success of our team meets, activities, and fundraisers.
