3 deadlines and weekly updates
Hello Pool Shark families,
Congratulations on a great win against Mt. Horeb! We are continuing to see improvements in our swimmer's times and strokes as we approach the end of our season. Thanks to everyone who volunteered to make our meet a success! Meets would not be possible without you!
Individual results are posted on our website under "Meets and Events." Click on "Meet results." They will be posted here after each meet. If your swimmer finished in the top 3 of their individual event, or their relay got 1st place, they earned a ribbon at the meet! Ribbons are in your family folder in the Pool Shark Mailboxes at the outdoor pool. The mailbox will be placed on the bench by the concession stand during practices. If it is not there, you can ask a coach to for it. Parents or swimmers may access their mailboxes at anytime.
The registration deadline for the meet AT Spring Green (7/23/22) AND for our Tri-County Conference meet (7/30 & 7/31) is TOMORROW (7/18/22) at 11:30 pm. We are asking that you login to declare whether or not you're going to the meet if you have not done so already. This is a HARD deadline as line ups need to be done this week for the conference meet!
The process is simple. Login into your account and go to "Information" and scroll down to "Meet sign up instructions" to sign up for the meet. We do not need volunteers for the Spring Green meet, as it is an away meet, but we are still looking for volunteers for the Tri-County conference meet! We still need 1 clerk of course and 3 timers for Sunday 7/31 12:30-3:30pm. Thanks to all who have already signed up to help!

- Food Drive this week! - As in year's past, the Sauk Prairie Pool Sharks would like to give back to our community by hosting a Food Drive this week! Please bring in any non-perishable items you wish to donate to our local food pantry. The age-group with the most items donated will receive a special treat at our Awards Night and Pool Party! Totes labeled by age group will be at the outdoor pool office by the front desk. Ask a coach if you need help locating them.
- Swim-a-thon donations - We are still collecting Swim-a-thon donations! Donations can be turned into the Swim-a-thon folder in our Pool Shark mailbox at the outdoor pool as soon as possible. The folder has been moved to the front of the bin. Please DO NOT put cash in the folder in the mailbox. If you can write a check for the total, that would be preferred, but if you need to hand in cash, please hand it to Coach Sydney, Kippie Talmage, Julie Wuerger, or myself. Checks can be made out to Sauk Prairie Pool Sharks. Donations should be placed in an envelope labeled with your swimmer's name and age group. Swim-a-thon awards will be announced at the end of the season Awards night and Pool Party on August 1st.

Thanks again for another great week! We are approaching a busy week with the meet Wednesday night and another meet at Spring Green on Saturday. I will email practice changes due to the Wednesday night meet tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
