Hello Pool Shark families,

Tomorrow we will be traveling to Mazomanie for our 2nd swim meet vs the Mazomanie Barracudas! All of our pool addresses and maps are on our website under "Resources", "Pool locations". The address for the Mazomanie outdoor pool is

If this is your first swim meet, please see the "Swim Meet 101" section under the "Resources" tab on our website, or click the link below to know what to expect and how to prepare for away meets. Since this is an away meet, we do not need volunteers.

Swim meet 101

• Please arrive at 7 am to get set up and prepared for warm ups. Our warm ups start at 7:30 and end at 7:50 am. The meet will start at 8 am.
• If something happens between now and the start of the meet and your swimmer is not able to attend, please email our Head Coaches ASAP to let them know. [email protected]
• If you want to see what your swimmer is swimming in the meet, go to the "Meets and Events" tab on our website and click on the gray meet entry box (that is marked closed). You will be able to see your swimmer(s) and what they are scheduled to swim tomorrow with the event number. If you have not uploaded the free Swimtopia App, it is very helpful in signing your swimmer up for meets and seeing what they are swimming.
• The forecast looks nice, but a little chilly for tomorrow morning! Please come prepared with extra towels, blankets and warm clothes for the beginning of the meet, and pop-ups, sunscreen and water for when it warms up.
• Tomorrow's theme for the meet is SUPERHEROS! Come dressed in your favorite Superhero costume or attire to show your team spirit during the meet! (swimsuit underneath of course!)
• Heat sheets will be for sale at the concession stand as well as other concession items. The concession stand is CASH ONLY.
• Spectators will not be allowed on deck. Bleachers are available for seating/viewing. Our team usually sets up on the side of the pool by the concession stand and/or under the pavilion by the park. There is a playground and splash pad at this pool. We ask that swimmers stay off the playground until they are done with their events so we do not need to worry about any unexpected injuries during the meet. 
• This is a 25 meter pool, which is the same length as our outdoor pool and most of the pools in our conference. Your swimmer's times will be comparable to what is listed on the heat sheet, as those are 25 meter pool times. 
• Once your child is done swimming all the events they are signed up for, you may leave. If you are not sure, please ask a coach to be sure they are done swimming before you leave.

We are looking forward to watching our swimmers continue to improve! Please remember we are still early in the season, and our swimmers are still learning. Please be a positive supporter of your child and their efforts, no matter what the outcome. Many of them might be trying something new and may be nervous. Remember, they are trying their best. Encourage them to display good sportsmanship, be good teammates, and have fun!
