Greetings Pool Shark families,

Congratulations on our first dual meet win of the season vs Mazomanie yesterday! 

Individual and team results are posted on our website under "Meets and Events." Click on "Meet results." They will be posted here after each meet. If your swimmer finished in the top 3 of their individual event, or their relay got 1st place, they earned a ribbon at the meet! Ribbons are in your family folder in the Pool Shark Mailboxes at the outdoor pool. The mailbox will be placed on the bench by the concession stand at the outdoor pool during the 5:30 practices. If it is not there, you can ask a coach for it. Parents or swimmers may access their mailboxes anytime the outdoor pool is open by asking a coach or pool staff member to access it for you.

The registration deadline for our first HOME MEET VS BARABOO (6/24/23) is tomorrow night, (6/19/23) at 11:59 pm. We are asking that you login to declare whether or not you're going to the meet if you have not done so already. Please be sure to sign up to volunteer, as this is a home meet. If you have a swimmer in the meet, you will need to sign up for a job to fulfill your volunteer requirements.

The process is simple. Login into your account and go to "Information" and scroll down to "Meet sign up instructions" to sign up for the meet and for volunteer jobs. 

Thank you to those of you who have already signed up to volunteer! Most of our jobs are filled, but we still have empty spots that need to be filled. Reminder that only trained officials can sign up for that job. All other jobs can be trained on site. If you go to sign up, and there are no jobs available, please email me ASAP to be assigned a job. If everything gets filled, I will assign you a job to "train" and/or help with to fulfill your volunteer requirements. 

Fruit at home meets - We are bringing back FRUIT to the concession stand!! At each home meet 1/3 of the team is asked to bring cut up fresh fruit in a container/ziplock bag to the concession stand upon arrival to be mixed and served as fruit cups. This meet will be the front third of the alphabet, so if your last name starts with A-HA, please plan to bring fruit on Saturday :) Our home meet on July 1st will be families HE-N, and our last home meet on July 15th will be families O-Z. If you know you will be missing the meet you are assigned to bring fruit, please plan to bring it to a home meet you will be attending.

We have a normal practice schedule for this week! We highly recommend checking out our 6:45am practice if it works for your schedule. There are typically less swimmers at this practice and more pool space to spread out. Baby Sharks must attend the 5:30pm practice at the Outdoor pool until they graduate out of Baby Sharks and are approved by our coaching staff.  If you have any questions for our coaches, and want to contact them via email, their email address is [email protected].
