Happy Friday Pool Sharks!

Tomorrow we will be traveling to Baraboo for our first away meet of the season! All of our pool addresses and maps are on our website under "Resources", "Pool locations". The address for the Baraboo outdoor pool is:

320 South Blvd, Baraboo, WI

If this is your first swim meet, please see the "Swim Meet 101" section under the "Resources" tab on our website, or click the link below to know what to expect and how to prepare for away meets. Since this is an away meet, we do not need volunteers.

Swim meet 101

• Please arrive around 7am. Our warm ups start at 7:30 and end at 7:50 am. The meet will start at 8 am.
• If something happens between now and the start of the meet and your swimmer is not able to attend, please email our Head Coaches ASAP to let them know. [email protected]
• If you want to see what your swimmer is swimming in the meet, go to the "Meets and Events" tab on our website and click on the gray meet entry box (that is marked closed). You will be able to see your swimmer(s) and what they are scheduled to swim tomorrow with the event number. If you have not uploaded the free Swimtopia App, it is very helpful in signing your swimmer up for meets and seeing what they are swimming.
• As of right now, the forecast looks decent for tomorrow - Please come prepared with extra towels, blankets and warm clothes for the beginning of the meet, and pop-ups, sunscreen and water for when it warms up.
• Tomorrow's theme for the meet is SPORTS! Come dressed in your favorite jersey or sports attire to show your team spirit during the meet! (swimsuit underneath of course!)
• Heat sheets will be for sale at the concession stand as well as other concession items. The concession stand is CASH ONLY.
• Visiting teams are asked to set up outside of the fenced in pool deck area. There will be bleachers available for single event viewing.
• This is the 2nd shortest pool in our conference! (making it one of the most popular pools in our conference!) Most of the outdoor pools in our conference are 25 meter pools. (our outdoor pool included) This pool is shorter. It is 24 yards and 1 foot long. If this is your first meet, it is a great pool to start in. If you are a returning swimmer, your times will most likely be faster than your times at our outdoor pool. • Once your child is done swimming all the events they are signed up for, you may leave. If you are not sure, please ask a coach to be sure they are done swimming before you leave.

We are looking forward to watching our swimmers continue to improve! Please remember we are still early in the season, and our swimmers are still learning. Please be a positive supporter of your child and their efforts, no matter what the outcome. Many of them might be trying something new and may be nervous. Remember, they are trying their best. Encourage them to display good sportsmanship, be good teammates, and have fun!
