Hello Pool Sharks!

We will be traveling to Sun Prairie for our make up meet tomorrow/tonight, Wednesday, July 10th. (depending on what time you are reading this) All of our pool addresses and maps are on our website under "Resources", "Pool locations". The address for the Sun Prairie Family Aquatic Center is:

If this is your first swim meet, please see the "Swim Meet 101" section under the "Resources" tab on our website, or click the link below to know what to expect and how to prepare for away meets. Since this is an away meet, we do not need volunteers.

Swim meet 101

• Please arrive around 4:30/4:45pm. Our warm ups start at 5pm and end at 5:20pm am. The meet will start at 5:30 pm. They are going to try to move the meet along as fast as possible, but it will likely be a late night. We are hoping to be done with the meet by 9pm.
• If something happens between now and the start of the meet and your swimmer is not able to attend, please email our Head Coaches ASAP to let them know. [email protected]
• If you want to see what your swimmer is swimming in the meet, go to the "Meets and Events" tab on our website and click on the gray meet entry box (that is marked closed). You will be able to see your swimmer(s) and what they are scheduled to swim tomorrow with the event number. If you have not uploaded the free Swimtopia App, it is very helpful in signing your swimmer up for meets and seeing what they are swimming.
• The forecast looks great for tomorrow! - Please come prepared for warm weather at the beginning of the meet, but bring some extra towels and sweatshirts for when the sun goes down towards the end of the meet.
• Tomorrow's theme for the meet is Pajama Day/night! Come dressed in your favorite PJ's to show your team spirit during the meet! (swimsuit underneath of course!)
• Heat sheets will be for sale at the concession stand as well as other concession items. The concession stand is CASH or Venmo.
• Visiting teams usually set up on the lawn just past the entrance area.
• This is a 25 meter pool (the same as our outdoor pool) so your swimmer's times will be comparable to the times in our pool. You can find all our conference pool lengths with conversions under "Resources, Pool Lengths".
• Once your child is done swimming all the events they are signed up for, you may leave. If you are not sure, please ask a coach to be sure they are done swimming before you leave.

Unfortunately, we have had some behavior issues at clerk of course recently. Please help remind your swimmers to only be in clerk of course if they are swimming the event that is being called, and to be respectful to all volunteers who are helping run the meet. As always, please continue to encourage them to display good sportsmanship, be good teammates, and have fun!
