Last week of spring swim and locker room changes

Good evening,

It's hard to believe this week will be our last week of spring swim camp! We would like to thank you for participating with us. If you are interested in continuing in our summer Pool Shark program, and have not registered yet, please do so by Thursday, May 22nd to make sure you are included in our 2025 Summer Swim email group and to receive a free team t-shirt for the summer.

Unfortunately, I have some bad news to report for the last week of swim camp. Last week, our aquatics director received another email/complaint from our custodial staff about incidents in the locker rooms, and also food and nail polish messes in the mezzanine. For the rest of spring swim, the pool staff will be shutting down the locker rooms and mezzanine for our group due to these incidents. What does this mean?

Starting next week, the Pool Sharks will no longer be using the competition pool locker rooms or mezzanine. Our swimmers will need to come ready in their suits, or change in the public restrooms across the hall from our competition pool locker room doors. Swimmers will enter and exit through the main pool entrance doors, and can leave their bags and towels on the bleachers during practice. The unisex/family change room hall will be open for locker room use to change after or to use the restrooms. Parents will be allowed to watch from outside the doors to the pool deck, but the mezzanine will be closed. You are welcome to bring chairs into the main pool entrance way to watch if you would like.

I am sorry it has come to this, but our custodians and pool staff have reached their limit on these issues. Please let me know if you have any questions.
