Hello Pool Sharks!

Tomorrow we will be traveling to the Wisconsin Dells outdoor pool. All of our pool addresses and maps are on our website under "Resources", "Pool locations". The address for the Wisconsin Dells outdoor pool is:

If this is your first swim meet, please see the "Swim Meet 101" section under the "Resources" tab on our website, or click the link below to know what to expect and how to prepare for away meets. Since this is an away meet, we do not need volunteers.

Swim meet 101

• Please arrive around 6:45/7am. Our warm ups start at 7:30 and end at 7:50 am. The meet will start at 8 am.
• If something happens between now and the start of the meet and your swimmer is not able to attend, please email our Head Coach Riley ASAP to let her know. [email protected]
• If you want to see what your swimmer is swimming in the meet, go to the "Meets and Events" tab on our website and click on the gray meet entry box (that is marked closed). You will be able to see your swimmer(s) and what they are scheduled to swim tomorrow with the event number. If you have not uploaded the free Swimtopia App, it is very helpful in signing your swimmer up for meets and seeing what they are swimming.
• As of right now, the forecast looks cloudy with a chance of rain showers. We CAN swim through rain, but not thunder/lightning. We will be keeping on eye on things in the morning. If you don't hear anything, the meet is ON. Please come prepared with pop-ups, rain gear and extra towels and clothes to keep you swimmer as dry and warm as possible.
• Tomorrow's theme for the meet is Christmas in July! Come dressed in your favorite Christmas/holiday attire to show your team spirit during the meet! (swimsuit underneath of course!)
• Heat sheets will be for sale at the concession stand as well as other concession items. The concession stand is CASH only. 
• Parking is limited at their facility. Parking in the pool parking lot is FREE. Parking in all other lots around the pool is metered parking, and you will need to pay to park. You will need to remember your stall number and pay at the pay station, or you can download the app and pay. There may be free parking on some of the streets around the pool, but please read and abide by parking signs carefully. 
• The visiting team typically sets up behind the blocks and over by the diving well. The area is shaded with a lot of trees, so you may not need our pop up depending on the weather. There is a playground by concessions. PLEASE tell your swimmer(s) to stay OFF the playground during the meet.
• This is most of our swimmer's favorite pool because it is the SHORTEST pool in the conference! :) The Dells pool is 22 yards, which is quite a bit shorter than our outdoor pool. (25 meters) You can expect your swimmer's times to be much faster than what you are used to seeing. Their times will eventually be converted to 25 meter times AFTER the meet when we post them to our website. • Once your child is done swimming all the events they are signed up for, you may leave. If you are not sure, please ask a coach to be sure they are done swimming before you leave.

With only 2 meets left in our season, our coaches are putting swimmers in events they either don't have a time for them in, or they haven't swam recently, so they can get updated times. Our coaches are working on refining our swimmer's strokes, starts, and turns. Please be a positive supporter of your child and their efforts, no matter what the outcome. Remember, they are trying their best. Encourage them to display good sportsmanship, be good teammates, and have fun!
