Weekly update / Mazo and Conference deadlines tomorrow!
Greetings Pool Shark families,
Congratulations to our swimmers on another VERY competitive swim meet. The Dells Dolphins edged us out for the win 357-298, handing us our 2nd dual meet loss of the season. It was another close meet with more best times and great swims for our swimmers.
Our Individual and team results have not been posted yet. They should be posted by tomorrow. If your swimmer finished in the top 3 of their individual event, or their relay got 1st place, they earned a ribbon at the meet! Ribbons are in your family folder in the Pool Shark Mailboxes at the outdoor pool. The mailbox will be placed on the bench by the concession stand at the outdoor pool during the 5:30 practices. If it is not there, you can ask a coach for it. Parents or swimmers may access their mailboxes anytime the outdoor pool is open by asking a coach or pool staff member to access it for you.
Our last registration deadline is tomorrow for BOTH the dual meet in Mazomanie on Saturday, 7/19 AND for our Tri-County Conference swim meet on 7/26 and 7/27. This is a HARD deadline. They are both listed below.
The registration deadline for the meet @ Mazomanie on Saturday 7/19/25 is tomorrow, 7/14/25 at 11:59pm.
We are asking that you login to declare whether or not you're going to the meets listed above if you have not done so already. The process is simple. Login into your account and go to "Information" and scroll down to "Meet sign up instructions" to sign up for the meet. Since these are both away meets, we do not need volunteers.
Tri-County Conference Meet information and deadlines - An email was sent a few weeks ago with all the information you need to know about the Tri-County Conference meet and Invite meet. It is also listed on our website under "Resources", "Tri-County Conference". Tri-county Conference Meet information
The registration deadline for the Tri-County Conference meet on 7/26 and 7/27 is TOMORROW 7/14/25 @ 11:59pm. This is a HARD DEADLINE, so please declare your availability for this meet as soon as possible, so our coaches can start working on their line ups. Also, this is a friendly reminder that your swimmer MUST compete in at least 3 dual meets to be eligible to swim in the Tri-County Conference swim meet.
- Conference Volunteers - Each team is expected to supply volunteers to help run the Conference meet. We need to provide 16 timer shifts and 4 clerk of course shifts. We still have timer shifts available for both Saturday and Sunday afternoon, and clerk of course shifts available for both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. These volunteer opportunities are available to sign up now, and are due to the host team ASAP. If you need to make up for a missed volunteer job at a home meet where your swimmer completed, this can count as a make up for the volunteer requirement.
Swim-a-thon donations - We are still collecting!
Donations can be turned into the Swim-a-thon folder in our Pool Shark mailbox at the outdoor pool as soon as possible, or you can give them to Coach Riley at the indoor pool. The folder has been moved to the front of the bin. Please DO NOT put cash in the folder in the mailbox. If you can write a check for the total, that would be preferred, but if you need to hand in cash, please hand it to myself or Coach Riley. Checks can be made out to Sauk Prairie Pool Sharks. Donations should be placed in an envelope labeled with your swimmer's name and age group. All donations are due by the end of the day Monday July 21st.
SAVE THE DATE ~ Our end the of season Pool Party will be on Monday July 28th from 5:30-8:30pm at the Outdoor Pool.

If you ordered pictures, they are IN! They have been placed in your family folder in the Pool Shark mailbox at the outdoor pool. You can ask a coach or a lifeguard to access the mailbox anytime the outdoor pool is open
That is all for now...Have a great week!
