Good evening Pool Shark families,

Great job on our first swim meet of the season! The final score of the meet was Sun Prairie 433, and Sauk Prairie 228. Sun Prairie always has a strong team, and we had some great races against some of the best in our conference. 

Individual and team results are posted on our website under "Meets and Events." Click on "Meet results." They will be posted here after each meet. If your swimmer finished in the top 3 of their individual event, or their relay got 1st place, they earned a ribbon at the meet! Ribbons will be placed in your family folder in the Pool Shark Mailbox at the outdoor pool. The mailbox will be placed on the bench by the concession stand at the outdoor pool during the 5:30 practices. If it is not there, you can ask a coach for it. Parents or swimmers may access their mailboxes anytime the outdoor pool is open by asking a coach or pool staff member to access it for you.

The registration deadline for the home Meet vs Mt. Horeb (6/13/26) is TOMORROW night (6/8/26) at 11:59 pm. We are asking that you login to declare whether or not you're going to the meet if you have not done so already.

The process is simple. Login into your account and go to "Information" and scroll down to "Meet sign up instructions" to sign up for the meet. This is a home meet, so please remember to sign up for a volunteer shift if you have a swimmer in the meet to fulfill your volunteer requirement.

Practice schedule switch this week! - Monday and Tuesday we will continue to have practices at 3:45-4:45 and from 5-6pm at the indoor pool.

We will transition to our normal summer practice schedule starting Wednesday, June 10th. It is listed below:

• 6:45-7:45 AM - Indoor Pool
• 8-10 AM - High Performance - Indoor Pool (can only attend if registered for this program)
• 5:30-6:30 PM - Outdoor Pool - Regular swim practice and Baby Sharks start this week!

TEAM PICTURES INFORMATION -

TEAM PICTURES ARE NEXT WEDNESDAY June 17th @ the outdoor pool - We will NOT have our 5:30pm practice that day due to pictures! Ziegler Photography will be at the outdoor pool from 5-6:45pm to take individual/sibling and age-group pictures. Picture forms are located in the front of the Pool Shark mailbox in a red folder labeled "Picture forms", and will be printed and available for you to fill out at the pool that day. There are also some picture forms located at the indoor pool that we will have put out on a chair or table outside of the pool doors to pick up this week and next week.

Facebook and Instagram - Our Sauk Prairie Pool Sharks have a Facebook and Instagram page. Please find, and follow us to see pictures from our meets and events, and for helpful information and announcements!

Practice reminder - This is a friendly reminder that we ask parents to stay off the deck during practices. If you are at the indoor pool, you can observe practice from the mezzanine and if you are at the outdoor pool, we ask you either sit in the bleachers, or outside the pool fence. The tables on the pool deck are not for parents to sit at during practice. Thanks for understanding!

Volunteer opportunities - We have a few positions we are looking for that can count for your volunteer requirements!

Team photographer - We are looking for someone who will take action shots at meets, and post to our Facebook page after the meets. Please email me if you are interested!

Hy-tek training - We are looking for someone to train to learn how to run our team Hy-tek (computer system). If you are interested, please email me, and I can get you more information.

Team announcer in training - We are looking for a few more people to announce at our home meets. If you are interested in training, you can sign up on our volunteer sign up.

Team Treasurer - We are looking to transistion our team Treasurer position in the next year. If you are interested, please email for more details.
