Hello Pool Sharks!

Tomorrow we will be traveling to the Spring Green outdoor pool. All of our pool addresses and maps are on our website under "Resources", "Pool locations". The address for the Spring Green Municipal Park / outdoor pool is:

If this is your first swim meet, please see the "Swim Meet 101" section under the "Resources" tab on our website, or click the link below to know what to expect and how to prepare for away meets. Since this is an away meet, we do not need volunteers.

Swim meet 101

• Please arrive around 6:45/7am. Our warm ups start at 7:30 and end at 7:50 am. The meet will start at 8 am.
• If something happens between now and the start of the meet and your swimmer is not able to attend, please email our Head Coach Riley ASAP to let her know. [email protected]
• If you want to see what your swimmer is swimming in the meet, go to the "Meets and Events" tab on our website and click on the gray meet entry box (that is marked closed). You will be able to see your swimmer(s) and what they are scheduled to swim tomorrow with the event number. If you have not uploaded the free Swimtopia App, it is very helpful in signing your swimmer up for meets and seeing what they are swimming.
• The forecast for tomorrow is looking great so far! It's always a little chilly when we arrive, so plan to have sweatshirts, pants and blankets for the earlier part of the meet, and pop-ups, sunscreen, and water for when things warm up later in the meet.
• Tomorrow's theme for the meet is Pajama Day! Come dressed in your favorite PJ's to show your team spirit during the meet! (swimsuit underneath of course!)
• The concession stand, located near the front door of the pool house, will be open at 7AM. The menu includes donuts, coffee, assorted soda/Gatorade/Bubbl'r, Sno-Cones, brats, hot dogs, nachos, walking tacos and more! Cash, Venmo, and credit/debit cards are all accepted. Heat sheets will be available for purchase at the concession stand as well.
• Our team may set up our tents/seating on the basketball court on the south side of the pool. Swimmers will enter the clerk of course at the gate near the wading pool. When they are finished with their race, swimmers will exit the gate on the north side of the pool.
• This is a 25 meter pool, just like our outdoor pool, so your swimmer's time should be comparable to what you are used to seeing in our outdoor pool. You can find all our conference pool lengths with conversions under "Resources, Pool Lengths".
• Team t-shirts - If you were not able to pick up your team t-shirts at picture night, I will have them at the meet tomorrow. If you see me, please flag me down for your shirts. Otherwise, I will make an effort to find you and deliver them to you at the meet.
• Once your child is done swimming all the events they are signed up for, you may leave. If you are not sure, please ask a coach to be sure they are done swimming before you leave.

We anticipate this to be another very close and competitive swim meet, so it should make for a fun and entertaining swim meet! Our swimmers are continuing to improve! Please remember we are still early in the season, and they are still learning. Please be a positive supporter of your child and their efforts, no matter what the outcome. Many of them might be trying something new and may be nervous. Remember, they are trying their best. Encourage them to display good sportsmanship, be good teammates, and have fun!
