Hello team,

The Tri-County Conference meet is our end of the season championship meet where all 8 teams in our conference compete against each other in a 2 day prelims/finals meet. The meet will be held at our indoor pool this year on July 25th and 26th, and will be hosted by the Spring Green Dolphins.

Below is all the information you will need to know about meet sign up, eligibility, the conference line up selection process, the Tri-County Conference Invite meet and other important deadlines and information. Please read through this entire email carefully and let me or any member of our coaching staff or board members know if you have any questions.

• Tri-County Conference Swim Meet 7/25-7/26 - This is the culminating event for our season. All 8 teams compete against each other in a championship meet over the course of 2 days. We are allowed ONLY 3 entries per event (time based). Not everyone is guaranteed to swim at conference. Please declare either way as soon as you know your availability so coaches can start to put lineups together. The meet is available to sign up. Entries are due Monday, July 13th at 11:59pm. Day 1 (Saturday) Individual events/prelims. Day 2 (Sunday) Relays and finals (Top 16) Swimmers who want to compete in the Conference meet MUST swim in at least 3 dual meets this summer to be eligible to swim in this meet.
• If you aren't sure if your swimmer would qualify to swim events for conference, PLEASE ask their coach, or just sign them up if you are willing to spend the weekend with us at this amazing end of the season championship meet. It takes a full roster of swimmers to score points for our team, and in most cases, we can find an event for your swimmer to compete in. The deadline to declare for the conference swim meet is Monday, July 13th. This is a HARD deadline, as our coaches need to put line ups together right away so families can prepare.

  In the event you declare your swimmer for the conference meet and they do not qualify for an individual event to compete in, there is an additional opportunity for your swimmer(s). It is called the Tri-County Invite meet.

  The Tri-County invite meet will be held on Tuesday, July 21st starting at 5pm in Sun Prairie. Our warm ups are TBD. This meet is meant for swimmers who have committed to the conference meet, but did not qualify for individual events. If your swimmer meets this criteria, they will be invited by their coach to attend the Invite meet on the 22nd. This is an individual meet ONLY. There are no relays. Medals will be awarded for 1st-3rd place and ribbons for 4th-8th place. There will also be heat winner prizes.

  Again, this is ONLY for swimmers declared for the conference meet who are not entered into an individual event for conference. Your swimmer still needs to have swam in at least 3 dual meets to qualify. Your swimmer may be entered for relays at conference, but not individual events, and still swim the Invite. This is an opportunity for our swimmers who want to help our team compete at the conference meet, to have an opportunity to compete individually at the end of the season. You will be notified by myself and/or a coach if your swimmer qualifies for this invite as soon as our coaches know.

• Conference Volunteers - Each team is expected to supply volunteers to help run the Conference meet. We need to provide 16 timer shifts and 4 clerk of course shifts. 4 AM timers, and 4 PM timers on both days, and 1 AM and PM clerk of course worker on both days. These volunteer opportunities are available to sign up now. If you need to make up for a missed volunteer job at a home meet where your swimmer completed, this can count as a make up for the volunteer requirement. There will also be a special VIP seating section at this year's conference swim meet. I will be emailing out more details about this opportunity in the next few weeks. We will be having a drawing for these seats for each session at the conference meet. If you volunteer at the conference swim meet, you will automatically be entered for the VIP seating drawing for the conference meet. 
• Officials, please check in with Matt Welch about our officiating needs for the meet. You will also be entered for the VIP seating drawing for the shift(s) you work at conference. 
• 2026 Tri-County Conference Meet website - A conference website is currently being constructed and will be sent out to all teams soon. On the website, families will be able find information such as parking locations,swim meet times, warm up times, admissions info, sponsor and heat sheet info, and more!
• Conference apparel order information - Clothing orders are available through Simply Swimming at the link below. Please be sure to place your orders by the deadline: July 5th, 2026.
