Meet recap / Meet deadlines / Conference infor and deadlines

Greetings Pool Shark families,

Congratulations to our swimmers on another team victory over the Mazomanie Barracudas! The final score of the meet was 417-237. Way to go Pool Sharks!

Thanks again to our amazing volunteers for helping run another smooth and efficient swim meet. Our home meets would not be possible without you!

A special thank you to everyone who helped out in our emergency situation to help keep everyone calm and safe yesterday. The Mazomanie swimmer is doing well. She has a minor concussion, but expects a full recovery. They are grateful to all who helped.

Our Individual and team results are posted on our website. If your swimmer finished in the top 3 of their individual event, or their relay got 1st place, they earned a ribbon at the meet! Ribbons are in your family folder in the Pool Shark Mailboxes at the outdoor pool. The mailbox will be placed on the bench by the concession stand at the outdoor pool during the 5:30 practices. If it is not there, you can ask a coach for it. Parents or swimmers may access their mailboxes anytime the outdoor pool is open by asking a coach or pool staff member to access it for you.

We had more team records broken yesterday! They are listed below:

50 Breaststroke Girls 13–14 Jamieson Weiss 37.83

50 Butterfly Women 15–18 Annabelle Schultze 30.22

200 Freestyle Relay Boys 9–10 Jordan Dent, Jordan Olson, Cameron Johnson, Wilson Wuerger 2:31.40

Congratulations to our record breakers!

Our last registration deadline is tomorrow for BOTH the dual meet in Baraboo on Saturday, 7/18 AND for our Tri-County Conference swim meet on 7/25 and 7/26. This is a HARD deadline. They are both listed below.

The registration deadline for the meet @ Baraboo on Saturday 7/18/26 is tomorrow, 7/13/26 at 11:59pm.

We are asking that you login to declare whether or not you're going to the meets listed above if you have not done so already. The process is simple. Login into your account and go to "Information" and scroll down to "Meet sign up instructions" to sign up for the meet. Since this is an away meet, we do not need volunteers.

The registration deadline for the Tri-County Conference meet on 7/25 and 7/26 is TOMORROW 7/13/26 @ 11:59pm. Your swimmer MUST be declared and available for the Tri-County Conference Meet to be eligible for the Tri-County Invite meet. If you have questions about this, please email Coach Riley. This is a HARD DEADLINE, so please declare your availability for this meet as soon as possible, so our coaches can start working on their line ups. We are hoping to have line ups mostly finalized by mid-week this week. Also, this is a friendly reminder that your swimmer MUST compete in at least 3 dual meets to be eligible to swim in the Tri-County Conference swim meet and for the Invite meet.

  • Conference Volunteers - Each team is expected to supply volunteers to help run the Conference meet. We need to provide 16 timer shifts and 4 clerk of course shifts. We still have timer shifts available for both Saturday and Sunday afternoon, and clerk of course shifts available for both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. These volunteer opportunities are available to sign up now, and are due to the host team ASAP. If you need to make up for a missed volunteer job at a home meet where your swimmer completed, this can count as a make up for the volunteer requirement.
  • Invite Volunteers - Each team is expected to supply volunteers to run this meet as well. We need to supply 4 timers shifts (2 first shift, and 2 second shift timers), and 1 clerk of course worker. We will send out emails when your swimmer is declared for the meet about signing up for these shifts. We NEED to cover these shifts in order to participate in this meet! Please plan to sign up for a shift if your swimmer will be participating in this meet!

It is also listed on our website under "Resources", "Tri-County Conference". Tri-county Conference Meet information

Swim-a-thon donations - We are still collecting!

Donations can be turned into the Swim-a-thon folder in our Pool Shark mailbox at the outdoor pool as soon as possible, or you can give them to Coach Riley at the indoor pool. The folder has been moved to the front of the bin. Please DO NOT put cash in the folder in the mailbox. If you can write a check for the total, that would be preferred, but if you need to hand in cash, please hand it to myself or Coach Riley. Checks can be made out to Sauk Prairie Pool Sharks. Donations should be placed in an envelope labeled with your swimmer's name and age group. All donations are due by the end of the day Monday July 20th.

SAVE THE DATE ~ Our end the of season Pool Party will be on Monday July 28th from 5:30-8:30pm at the Outdoor Pool.

I know this is A LOT of information. Please feel free to reach out with any questions to myself, any of our board members or coaches if you have them.

Have a great week!
