Tri-County Conference meet information - Volunteers still needed!
Good afternoon,
Tri-County Conference line ups have been finalized, and are viewable on our website and mobile app.
EVERYTHING you need to know about the Tri-County Conference swim meet is on the website. 2026 Tri-County Conference Meet Website PLEASE take the time to look through the website for important information including parking maps, admission fees, meet/warm-up schedules and more!
The meet starts at 9am on both days and normally wraps up around 3/3:30 pm each day. Our morning warm-up time is 7:20-7:40 am both days. There will be another 20 minute warm-up after the conclusion of the IM events each day. Announcements will be made, and coaches will be rounding up our swimmers for that warm-up each day. If your swimmer is only swimming in the 1st half of the meet, they should not participate in the afternoon warm ups. If you are not sure what warm ups your swimmer should attend, please ask their coach.
Saturday July 26th is individual events ONLY. No Relays. If your swimmer is only swimming relays, they do not need to attend on Saturday. The top 16 individual times from each event on Saturday will qualify to swim in the consolation and final heats of their events on Sunday. If your swimmer gets 17th or 18th on Saturday, they are alternates for their events on Sunday. They should still report for their event on Sunday in case there are any scratches.
Sunday July 27th is finals for individuals AND relays! There will be only 2 heats of every event on Sunday, but all swims count for points! 9-16th will swim in the first heat (consolation heat) and 1-8th will swim in the 2nd heat (finals heat). All 16 places score points for our team on Sunday for individual events and the top relay for each team will score the appropriate place points for their team!
There will be a break on both days in the middle of the meet for lunch and a mid meet warm up. The break is about an hour long from 11-12pm tentatively. The first half of the meet on Saturday will be events 11-38. The second half will be events 39-68. (Individual events only) The first half of the meet on Sunday will be events 1-38 and the second half will be events 39-78. (Relays and individual events)
Seating & Team Gathering Areas - Each team will have their own tent for swimmers to gather under, in the northwest parking lot. Spectator seating is located on the red bleachers on the 2nd floor of the aquatic center. Bleacher seating has been sectioned off by teams. Personal tents are only allowed in the open field to the west of the team tents. No tents will be allowed in front of the aquatic center or on the tennis courts. Speakers will be located outside as well in the team tent area to inform swimmers they should report to the clerk of course. A live video screening will be located near the concession stand in front of the pool.
Volunteers NEEDED! - Thank you to those who have signed up to volunteer!! Just like all of our other swim meets, we need volunteers to help run the meet. All teams are being asked to provide 16 timers and 4 clerk of course volunteers each to help our swimmers get times and get lined up for their events. Officials should be coordinating with Matt Welch to cover our required officiating shifts. Volunteers (including Officials) will receive FREE admission the day they volunteer. New this year, volunteers (including Officials) will also be put into a drawing for VIP seating at the conference meet. If your name is drawn for the VIP seating, we will make sure it's for a session you are not signed up to volunteer for. We will draw 3 names for each session. If your name is drawn, you will receive 2 VIP seats to the VIP section on deck. Once our volunteer sessions are full, we will draw and email the winners!
We still need the following shifts covered! ~ 2 Sunday PM timer shifts and 1 Saturday AM Clerk of Course shift. Please log into Swimtopia and sign up under the conference swim meet. Thanks in advance for your help!
Team Themes - On Saturday our team theme will be "Bright Futures!" Come dressed as "what you want to be when you grow up" to show team spirit on Saturday! Sunday's theme is the Holly Jolly Conference theme! Come dressed in your favorite Christmas/winter apparel to show Conference team spirit!
Tech suit information - We have had some people ask about wearing tech suits at the conference swim meet. Our league follows the USA Swimming policy. I have attached the link below. Simply stated, tech suits are NOT allowed for 12 and unders unless they are on the list of approved suits in the link provided. It is your responsibility to know if your swimmer is wearing an approved tech suit for the meet. 13 year olds and up may wear tech suits for the meet. Below you will find the link from USA swimming and I've attached a Youtube video that does a good job of explaining and showing what is accepted and what is not. If you still have questions about tech suits, the people at Simply Swimming are GREAT resources for you.

If you have any questions about the conference meet, please do not hesitate to ask myself, our coaches or board members.
I will be sending out more details about the conference meet later this week. In the mean time, please be sure your swimmers are getting plenty of rest, eating properly and drinking lots of water this week and next week for optimal performances! We are excited to see what our Pool Sharks can do!
