WOW! What a day! Our swimmers showed up and really performed today! We are so proud of everyone's efforts. Thank you to those of you who volunteered to help run this amazing event!

I have attached the preliminary results below from today. If your swimmer finished in the top 16 in an event, they will be swimming for team points tomorrow in that event. Please make sure your swimmer(s) report to clerk of course ON TIME! If they are late, they could lose their spot and an alternate will swim in their place! If your swimmer finished 17th or 18th, please have them report to clerk of course for that event. If there is a scratch, or a swimmer is late or missing, they will be put in that spot to swim for points.

All relays will swim tomorrow, along with the consolation (9th-16th places) and final (1st-8th places) heats of each event. The top relay scores points for our team.

Our arrival and warm up times are the same for tomorrow. Please arrive between 6:45-7 am. The doors open at 6:30 am. Our warm ups are 7:20-7:40 am. 

There will be a brief opening ceremony starting at 8:45 am, then the start of the meet will follow. The coaches will guide our swimmers through the team parade before the start of the meet. If your swimmer is in an 8 and under Medley Relay, they will not be allowed to be in the opening ceremony. They are expected to be lined up in clerk of course so we can start the meet immediately following the ceremony. There will be a mid-meet break after event #38 again. Mid-meet warm ups will follow shortly after event #38. If you are only swimming in the 2nd half of the meet tomorrow, please plan to be at the pool no later than 10:30am tomorrow for afternoon warm up and please check in with your coaches.

A few things from our host ~

• ONLY COACHES and people with Deck passes on deck - Swimmers are expected to leave the deck through the locker rooms after their races, and will not be allowed to hang around on deck tomorrow. They WILL be asking to see deck passes. 
• Swimmers can watch from the mezzanine, but NEED to dry off completely before going upstairs.
• NO BIKES OR SCOOTERS in the parking lot. There were complaints today about kids in the parking lot with scooters and bicycles running into people. We ask that everyone please leave these at home for the safety of both the kids and people walking back and forth.

Reminders -

• Heat Sheets and Admissions - Admissions Cash, Credit or Venmo. If you paid for a heat sheet for Sunday, remember your green ticket for tomorrow!
• Volunteers - You will have to give your name at admissions to receive FREE admission. Please come find me (Julie Goodman) in our team area during our swimmer's warm ups to get your deck pass and stop watches (timers only). Timer's meeting and clerk of course meeting are at 8:30 (AM shifts) and approximately 11:30/11:45 for PM shifts. (Pay attention for announcements during the break)
• Tomorrow's theme is "Holly Jolly Conference" attire/costumes!
• Awards ceremony - The final results and awards ceremony to be approximately 1 hour after the last race of the weekend. This will be located out front near the concessions stand area. Please stick around and congratulate all the swimmers for their hard work they put in this summer AND to help accept our team trophy for Dual Meet Conference Champions! We would like to get a picture with as many swimmers as possible from our team with the trophy! 

1 day down, and 1 to go...We are on a roll! Let's keep it going! Make sure your swimmer(s) are drinking plenty of water and get a good night's sleep tonight! Bring the same effort and energy to the meet tomorrow! We got this!!
